VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
2026 LCMS National Convention
July 18–23, 2026 • Phoenix, Arizona

The 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is scheduled for July 18–23, 2026, in downtown Phoenix.
The theme will be “Christ Is Risen Indeed,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:20–22:

“But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”
Sign Up Information & Volunteer Opportunities
The PSD is utilizing a volunteer management platform called “Point.” To sign up as a volunteer, you will be asked to create an account. After you create an account, simply “join our organization” to see all of the volunteer opportunities. You can also click directly below on each individual team if you only want to volunteer in one area of the convention.
When you sign up for each opportunity, you’ll be asked for “registration information” that may repeat what you provided when you signed up for Point. The PSD (the “organization”) can only see the information provided on the individual sign-up; The PSD cannot see your POINT profile.

Teams
Registration Team - FULL
The Registration Team serves the convention Thursday, July 16-Saturday, July 18. These volunteers set-up, organize, and run the Convention Registration Tables. They are friendly faces who help welcome delegates and guests to convention.
Pages serve the convention Sunday, July 19-Thursday, July 23. A Page is a volunteer who remains on the convention floor to assist delegates. A Page should be a person comfortable listening and observing for long periods of time, quick on their feet, and eager to serve. Pages spend their time at convention distributing materials, verifying delegate seating, and assisting at the microphones. Those volunteering as pages should plan to attend the whole convention.
Information Booth - FULL
Information Booth volunteers serve the convention Friday, July 17-Thursday, July 23. An Info Booth volunteer is seated outside the convention floor to answers question and provide resources as needed. Info Booth Volunteers should be friendly people ready to welcome attendees to the Phoenix Valley
International Guest Transportation Drivers- FULL
Drivers transport international guests and delegates from the airport (Phoenix-Sky Harbor) to the assigned hotel. Drivers must be at least 30 years old wit ha valid drivers license and should be flexible, welcoming, and inclined to help. Experience and familiarity with airport routes and Downtown Phoenix strongly recommended.

The Hospitality Team volunteer positions are open to anyone who wants to serve with a more flexible schedule. These individuals can volunteer anywhere from 5 hours for a single day or up to 10 hours a day for 7 days. The Hospitality Team is a great place for families, small groups, Bible Studies, Youth Groups, etc. to serve TOGETHER. The Hospitality Team welcomes guests to the convention, aids in the flow of people movement, and assists throughout the convention as needed.

The Load-in/Loud out Team assists in set-up and tear down by helping move materials and supplies before and after convention. Members of this team should be flexible problem solvers willing to lift heavy supplies and aid the Convention Planning Team in setting up their supplies upon arrival. Load-in/Load-out Volunteers are needed Thursday, July 16, Friday, July 17, and Thursday July 23.
