About the Conference

2026 Fall Pastors' Conference, September 27-30 at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, NV

This year’s conference theme Freedom in Christ focuses on mental and spiritual health for you and those you serve, specifically around the epidemic of pornography and sexual addiction. Our conference speakers will provide insights and actionable information related to the wide scope of this issue (including within the church), the mechanics of breaking sexual addiction and building integrity, and theological foundation that supports recovery. Attendees will be equipped with greater understanding, practical tools, and Christ-centered freedom and hope as you serve those who struggle while also caring for your own emotional and spiritual well-being.

Counseling Sessions Available
Counselors will also be available to pastors, wives and couples throughout the conference for private sessions related to pornography, sexual addiction, or other challenges you may currently be experiencing. The therapists will be introduced during the first morning of the conference and you will have the opportunity to make a private, confidential appointment directly with the therapist. President Gibson wants you to know that this conference is a safe place for you to deal with issues, get help, be reminded of God’s grace in Christ, and know the power of the Spirit to live a transformed life.

Beyond the Conference Sessions
Enhance your time in Las Vegas by exploring some attractions this unique city has to offer! On Monday (9/28) join fellow attendees for a round of golf, a visit to the iconic Mob Museum or just relax by the pool - the afternoon and evening are open for you to choose an activity that best suits your interests. Explore and enjoy a different side of Las Vegas!

Golf at Angel Park Golf Club
Golf enthusiasts won't want to miss the opportunity to play Angel Park Golf Club's beautiful Mountain Course - the cost is $125 per golfer. Whether you're coming with a group or flying solo, all skill levels are welcome! Tee times start at 1:30pm. Golf registration is available when you register for the conference - if you have questions about the outing, would like tee time information, or to be paired in a twosome or foursome, please contact Scott Seidler at pastorscott@sotdaz.org.

Visit the Mob Museum
Not a golfer? Then we have an offer you can't refuse...a trip to the Mob Museum! You might be wondering, "What do Lutheran pastors and organized crime have in common?" Hopefully not much BUT here's your chance to find out! Join us for a fascinating visit to one of Las Vegas' most popular attractions. Our special group rate for the tour is $27 per person – and if you are looking for even more of an immersive experience, the museum offers several interactive options. These activities are not included with museum admission and must be purchased separately and arranged directly with the museum. The cost is $12 per experience when purchased in advance ($16 if purchased at the museum on the day of your visit). Available options include the Crime Lab, Distillery Tasting, and Firearm Training Simulator. Don't worry…this IS strictly an educational excursion - no background checks are required! For museum tour details or questions, please contact John Palka at pastor@flvenice.org.
