High School Math Teacher
Job Summary:
North Valley Christian Academy, in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a passionate and qualified High School Math Teacher to teach courses ranging from Algebra I through Pre-Calculus.
The ideal candidate is committed to academic rigor, student growth, and integrating a biblical worldview into mathematics instruction.
Qualifications:
Teach assigned math courses (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, etc.)
Develop engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners
Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
Maintain accurate grading and communication with parents
Integrate biblical truth and worldview into mathematics instruction
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
Serve as a mentor and spiritual role model to students
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Master’s preferred)
Valid teaching certification (preferred but not always required in private schools)
Experience teaching high school math
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to disciple students academically and spiritually
Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications in accordance with NVCA’s pay scale.
