FALL PASTORS CONFERENCE

The theme of this year’s Fall Pastors Conference will be “The Mutual Conversation & Consolation of the Brethren.” It will be held at the Embassy Suites in Palm Desert September 8-11th, 2008.

  • Facilitators include: Rev. Larry Harvala, President, North Dakota District, Dr. Reed Lessing, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis , and Rev. Dr. Larry Stoterau, President, Pacific Southwest District.
  • Conference Fees: $135, which includes Wednesday’s luncheon
  • Retired Pastors: $50, which includes Wednesday’s luncheon
  • Spouse Luncheon: $20

The Fall Lay Leadership Continuing Education Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites in Palm Desert, CA on Monday, September 8th, 2008, (prior to the Pastors Conference) for deacons, deaconesses, parish ministry assistants and those who have completed all Lay Leadership Training required courses. 

Rev. NEW PASTORS ORIENTATION

Each year in the fall, the Pacific Southwest District hosts the annual New Pastors Orientation at the District Office in Irvine , CA.  This event is intended for pastors and their wives who are new to the District.  It is an opportunity to become better acquainted with you and to share with you the mission and ministry of the District as we seek to support you in your important work.  We provide lodging and meals, and reimbursement for your travel expenses.
